Form established, underpainting finished, background layed in.  Finding highlights and value changes .  Some throwing and splattering of paint next.  All the while we visited with people about the painting experience.  A wonderful day!

Montana Elevator #61

Finishing touches to the painting at the conclusion of the hour to paint. Piece was pre-framed and when dry I pulled the tape from the frame to make a finished piece. It was a fun and interesting group of artists working this year at the Yellowstone Art Museum.

Montana Elevator #61

45 min. into an hour quick draw at the Yellowstone Art Museum. Acrylic on canvas 24 x 36. This piece was auctioned off about an hour later.

Car parts # 58

Turns out that a car can look like a landscape. This old Chevy seems like rolling hills, I like the headlight, a little heat in a cool afternoon. Park it long enough and it will be part of the landscape. Acrylic latex on illustration bd. 22 x 28

Car Parts #55

I don't even know why this turned out the way it did, I distorted some things, next thing I knew this car was dancing across the paper! I "think" I like it, will know later. Acrylic latex on illustration bd. 22 x 28
